Hygiaso Demonstrates Citizen-Centric Health Data Innovation with Shareguard Health

As part of the IDERHA initiative, Hygiaso has been working on the development of an application for citizens. The application demonstrates advanced technical capabilities designed to:

• Enable citizens to digitally obtain their personal health data, exercising their legal right of access.
• Aggregate data from any healthcare service provider to build a comprehensive personal medical history.
• Allow secure and autonomous sharing of health data with chosen recipients, including family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Operate in full compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks across diverse jurisdictions.

Hygiaso has been assessing the technologies implemented. The company will present its key conclusions and outline intended improvements in October, with a focus on establishing a sustainable, future-proof infrastructure for citizen-centred health data management.

This work will be complemented by the Proof-of-Concept of key Real-World health data exchange functions later this month. The exchange will allow citizens to voluntarily make their personal health data available for specific research and development purposes.

Taken together, these developments have the potential to significantly accelerate access to patient-level Real-World health data and facilitate the recruitment of eligible study participants, thereby advancing innovation in healthcare research.
