The external Ethics Advisory Board (EAB) in IDERHA is installed to ensure monitoring all of the governance, compliance and ethics related work of IDERHA. The EAB has expertise in data protection and GDPR, ethics and regulatory compliance for artificial intelligence, bioethics, and patient perspective, etc.
During their meetings the EAB will review the overall progress of the project, the governance measures and instruments that have been developed and adapted, and the anticipated next steps that have ethical, governance or data implications. The EAB will provide recommendations regarding the suitability of the project approach to these issues. The EAB consists of eight members with different background and nationalities.
