ASCPT Journal recognizes IDERHA position paper as August Paper of the Month
The Clinical and Translational Science (CTS) Journal, part of the ASCPT Journal Family, has selected an IDERHA-led position paper as its August Paper of the Month, recognizing its contribution to advancing the use of Real-World Evidence (RWE) in healthcare decision-making.
Authored by an international team of experts, the paper explores recent policy developments surrounding the use of real-world data in regulatory and health technology assessment (HTA) processes. The authors highlight the growing importance of establishing standardized practices and policies to ensure that RWE can effectively support evidence-based decisions across healthcare systems.
The recognition underscores the continued momentum behind efforts to strengthen RWE frameworks, helping regulators, HTA bodies, and other stakeholders make more informed decisions that ultimately improve patient care.
The paper was co-authored by Katharine Cresswell, Ravinder Claire, Laila I., Luke Kubehl, Omnia Bilal, Rose Purcell, Jakob Wested, Lotte Groth Jensen, Medha Sasane, Rita Peeters, Bethany Shinkins, and Heather M. Colvin.
